Lets start the ball rowling with the pre wash - Snow foam

DO THIS ON A COMPLETLY DRY CAR - NO NEED TO DO A PRE-RINSE OTHERWISE THIS MAKES THE SNOW FOAM WATTERY

This is now my fav & creats a massive load of foam

Alternative - Not so foamy though

Description
High Foaming, Non-Contact Pre-Wash Cleaner From Bilt-Hamber.
AutoEXPRESS magazine - 4 Stars!

Bilt-Hamber Auto-Foam is a premium quality, foaming pre-wash treatment, designed to soak and saturate soiled vehicle paintwork prior to the application of vehicle shampoo. Auto-foam is gentle and designed to be used with all pressure washer foam lances.

Features & Benefits:

•Auto-Foam will "panel dwell" for approx 5 - 8 minutes
•Formulated specifically to offer maximum wetting
•Easy to rinse off
•Wax-friendly
•Tough on soil & grime - gentle to paint
•Non-caustic & biodegradable
Auto-Foam’s bubbles will systematically burst and move around, encouraging the soaking and cleansing agents to start working. Road grime is lifted from painted surfaces thereby minimising harm caused by swirling and marking during subsequent washing.

NOTE: Auto-Foam is only recommended for use with pressure washers and is not suitable for use with foam guns such as the Gilmour.

Size: 5L

Another alternative to snow foam lance as my waxamono one only lasted a yr of weekly use.

We have searched long and hard for the very best quality foam lance on the market and in this new Heavy Duty Foam Lance we really believe we have found it.

Constructed from a solid brass body it oozes quality which feels satisfyingly solid. Even the extension pipe is made from zinc and fits directly onto a Karcher pressure washer like any other attachment.

The nozzle can be adjusted for the pattern of foam delivered and the valve on the top regulates the chemical dilution rate.

Using this foam lance combined with a suitable shampoo and ideally snow foam it is possible to produce a very thick layer of foam which clings to the surface of the vehicle encapsulating, softening and removing dirt making the wash process much safer and more efficient (and fun!)

Max Pressure: 200 bar
Max Temp: 60°C

We stock a wide range of adaptors for most pressure washers on the market. Simply match the adaptor below to the coupling on your pressure washer and select from the options drop down and we'll send the right foam lance to match your machine.

You just need to buy the right connecter for your pressure washer make/lance make Very Happy

Be sure to ... when you have finished using the lance to empty the contents of the bottle fill will warm water and re-connect it to the pressure washer and blast / clean out the lance until no suds project from the lance as you don't want it drying and clogging up - needs to be done everytime you use it no matter what prodcts you put in it

Wheels are next Rolling Eyes Very Happy

Well all depends on how dirty they are and whether you have protected them before ?

Lets start from scratch clean them properly and protect them

1)Spray Alloy Wheel with :
Chemical Guys - Sticky Gel Wheel & Rim Cleaner - CITRUS Based HYPER GEL WHEEL CLEANER and allow to stand for 2-3 mins

If the Alloy is really caked then break out the :

Chemical Guys Diablo Gel :

Induro-Brush #3 Curved Tyre Brush

to scrub up the actual tyre.

6) Rinse with Pressure Washer VERY well ensuring that you get all the product off !

7) Get a tub of warm water mixed with general paintwork shampoo something with a good lubricant in using a microfibre cloth spread the shampoo over the wheel for the next step ....

8)Clay any remaining baked on really stubborn brake dust bits off - to ensure the surface is smooth and clean of any contaminants

9) Rinse with Pressure Washer

10) Dry off with a soft thick slush Microfibre cloth - and ensure very dry no dribbles or will spoil next step

11) Apply Chemical Guys WHEEL GUARD WHEEL WAX SEALANT with microfibre pad - Apply Wheel Guard liberally - better protection - allow it to haze

13) Seal with Chemical Guys JETseal109 :

Pour a small amount onto applicator or microfiber pad and apply to Alloy Wheel in a thin, even coat. Jetseal109 will bond with clean paintsurfaces within 15 minutes. Once removed allow 20 min. time and apply a second layer to assure even coverage.

It may seem lengthy but once this whole process is done the protection is spot on then you will simply just just the Chemical Guys Premium Blue Wheel and Tyre Cleaner aggitate with the Chemical Guys - GERBIL WHEEL BRUSH-ALL SURFACE PREMIUM WHEEL & RIM BRUSH and Swissvax brushes and rinse ! Then once the protection wears off repeat
WARNING WITH BILBERRY - It has to be diluted correctly due to its acidity !!

Claying

Ok here you go

Zymol Lehm Clay Bar & Clay Lube : £46 - Very Good - name speaks for itself - what i am currently using then Zymol HD cleanse after

http://www.monzacarcare.com/products/?category_id=&search_mode=view_item&product_id=1847&start=0&search_term=clay

Sonus SFX Ultra Fine Clay Bar : Around £16-£18 for X2 Bars in a Box - again very good bars - dont use their clay lube bit watery

http://www.carnaubawaxshop.co.uk/shop/index.php?view=brand&brand_id=2

ONLY use fine grade if you are polishing by hand as Meduim-Hard is for Professional detailers really that machine polish after and you can easily C**K up your paint a good'n if its not used properly

and REMEMBER : LUBE LUBE and LUBE - you cant over lube - Lots of lube = NO MARRING on paintwork

Lets go onto bodywork Shampoo's Next Very Happy

Ok ....... Very Happy

Traffic Light System : Red, Amber, Green

Caked in Cr*p - Salt, Tar, Road Grime etc

Chemical Guys Wash and Gloss :

Citrus based helps to break down all the contaminates while lubricating surfaces allowing debris to be gently rinsed off. ONLY use a small amount (1 cap full to 4-5 gallons of water) as it is very good at its job. ONLY use larger amounts if you want to strip wax and polish etc to start a clean slate as it is extremely concentrated. Glossy wet finish, suds and polymers lubricate grit etc :

Fairly Soiled - Dust, general driving road grime / film

Zymol Auto Wash : Natural Concentrate :

The name speaks for itself really high quality stuff - pure natural oils : Lemon, Banana and Coconut Oils - Brilliant cleaning power lubricity is great can feel the dirt lifting carefully in the suds and not scratchy feeling. Again less is more on the quantity used. Shiny Bright with gloss finish (if that makes sense)

Very Lightly Soiled / Just Waxed

Chemical Guys Body Wash and Wax

Chemical Guys again ! shifts the dirt and brings back the life to your wax (despite the name Body wash and Wax its a synthetic wax that enhances the wax/gloss on your car). Like Megs Gold Class has ormula includes a synthetic wax that helps stop calcium drying to the surface and so preventing water spots. It also makes the water run off in sheets. - wet glossy finish

ACCESORIES (WASH MITTS)

Wash Mitt - Dodo Juice - Supernatural Wash Mitt aka "The Wookies Fist" -

http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washing-and-drying/wash-mitts-sponges/dodo-juice-supernatural-wash-mitt/prod_578.html

Highly reccomend these for polish, glass cleaner ect or for buffing
Dodo Juice Fantastic Fur Plush Microfibre - 3 Pack

http://www.waxamomo.co.uk/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=405
The softest buffing microfibre ever made. Probably.
What's better than a Fantastic Fur?..........3!!

A super premium, super soft microfibre buffing cloth from Dodo Juice with microsuede edging and an extremely dense 525g pile.

So why not have a feel and see for yourself? Possibly the finest way to remove polish or wax residue without the risk of marring.

Measures 40cmx40cm

Also handy to have for buffing - Particulary good on black/dark cars for removing Red Mist/Lime prime etc that cant be removed with the ^^
Dodo Juice Supernatural Buffing Cloth (as already mentioned in the window section)

A Super Plush, deep pile microfibre buffing cloth in white. 500gsm with microsuede edging.

We don't think you'll find a softer, deeper pile buffing cloth than this. And because it's specially sourced in white 500gsm microfibre, you can see the smallest amount of contamination on the cloth before it marrs your paint. Edged in ultra-soft microsuede to prevent fraying or undue linting.

40x40cm size

Wheel Arches

Firstly dont spray the arches down with water / pressure washer first as all the chemicals you are going to put on the arches to clean them will just run/stream off

Plastic Arches

Use Tardis to remove any stubborn tar spots (brilliant for body work to) apply using a paint brush and rub up the arches

leave for 5 mins or so and rinse throughly with pressure washer

Then spray APC or Heavy Duty Chemical Guys Extreme Orange Degreaser spray on wheel arches with a foam spray head - lather up and agitate dirt with a Vikan Brush (google them) which are stiff bristled detailing brushes (as you dont want the chemical to run off with the water just used to remove the Tardis) - leave to dwell for 5 mins or so then rinse with pressure washer.

When the arches start to dry up a bit dress them with either Finish Kare #108 Top Kote Anti-Static or Megs All Session Dressing to create a deep black look.

Carpet Arches

No point in using the Tardis on the carpet as it wont work effectively

spray Bilt Hamber Surfex HD (better on carpet arches) *same process as above* on wheel arches with a foam spray head - lather up and agitate dirt with a Vikan Brush (google them) which are stiff bristled detailing brushes (as you dont want the chemical to run off with the water just used to remove the Tardis) - leave to dwell for 5 mins or so then rinse with pressure washer.

(Hoover if you want to be really sad like me ...... )

When the arches start to dry up a bit protect carpet with Porsche Cabriolet Roof Protectant spray (yes its very good) creates a waterproof barrier and stops the majority of the dirt getting ingrain in the carpet.

I advise using a Pressure Washer instead of a hose due to the force of the water against the dirt and get an underbody lance and you can do the top of the wheel arches with ease ...BE WARNED they are very powerful

Enguine bay

Clean with a good APC ( all purpose cleaner ) i.e Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner (very good) and spray it on agitate with a detailing brush - i.e. the swissvax ones then get a damp cloth and wipe of the cleaner.

MAKE SURE you cover all electrics with cling film and tape or tin foil !! if the engine bay is really bad use some Chemical Guys - Orange Degreaser dont use Bare Bones thats for the undercarriage of the car.

Then seal with Swissvax Motor Shine.

Motor Shine seals the engine, accessories, ignition cables, hoses etc. It protects them from corrosion, moisture, salt and water splashes. Motor Shine remains permanently flexible and lets the 'as new' gloss of your engine come through. 400ml

Drying

Ok .... Drying Smile

Now the key here is location and tools

1) Avoid washing a car in direct sunlight - will dry very quickly and leave stubborn water marks
2) Buy CR*P and you will end up with lint fibres, smear marks and water marks all over your vehicle

Ok after the car is hosed down and all washing and claying (bath time) etc has been carried out you want to make sure it is bone dry for the polish, waxing, sealing and protecting.

Option 1 - ( quick and 99% no steak finish)

Ok first way is the quickest and best in my opinion takes 3-5 mins if that !! and that is an electric power blower. these come in all sorts of handy tools i.e. a small handheld leaf blower of you can buy a car detailing one.

I have the Chemical Guys Jet Speed Dryer :

http://www.chemicalguysuk.com/product_p/jetsp.htm (price and details on here)

Basically this blows the water of the car essentially like a hair dryer for paintwork ( Cool, Eh ?)

An alternative to this and works just as well .... pop down to your local B&Q, Homebase etc and for between £30-40 pick up a leaf blower ( may seem pricy but you wont have to spend all that time drying the car and removing water marks - blow the water off and then blow into the nooks and crannies and volia done - just have a small microfibre to mop up any little bits Wink )

Option 2 ( the more lengthy process )

Hose the car down wards towards the floor to create sheeting action for the water to follow then place a soft thick waffle waeve towel onto the larger surfaces of the car i.e. but 2-3 of them. 1 on the bonnet, 1 on the roof and 1 draped over the boot

I recommend using waffle weave first as they absorb the most moisture - DO NOT RUB THE SURFACE WITH THESE!! leave them to soak up the water and ring out.

I use these :
Eurow X Large Waffle Weave Microfibre Drying Towel - 26" x 36" : http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washing-and-drying/huge-38-x-28-microfibre-drying-towel/prod_154.html

Once these have drunk the majority of the water up now is for the water left over ! it is important to ensure that you are using something very soft so as not to create more swirl marks and so that you are buffing to a shine at the same time so as to avoid water marks Mad

Start with the

Chemical Guys - Miracle Dryer Ultra Absorbent Towel 25" x 36" : http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washing-and-drying/miracle-dryer-ultra-plush-25-x-36-/prod_362.html
Super soft and plush : soaks up water a treat after the heavyish bits of water left behind up the doors etc

DoDo Supernatural Drying Towel 48" x 26" : http://www.elitecarcare.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=64&products_id=576
Towel like effect removing the other lighter bits of water left behind :

Finally ....

Use the Dodo Juice - "Soft Touch" Premium Drying Towel : http://www.elitecarcare.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=64&products_id=553
clears up the little bits left over and dribbles you get from the mirrors and it has buffing fibres to ......buff to a shine

Hand Polishing

I assume (and please correct me if im wrong) that not very many people use a machine polisher ? i.e speciality cut pads and dual action polishing machines etc etc ???

So i have picked the best 'By Hand' polishes, that i use (and i have tried quite a few)

Both of these are great : being Chemical Guys naturally and best of all they dont leave any white dandruff flakes like are AutoGlym SRP (even when tiny bits are applied )

Chemicals Guys : WET MIRROR FINISH ULTRA SLICK NON-STICK GLOSS MAGNIFIER (A.K.A Mirror Perfect Reflection )

1) formulated with UVA and UVB light absorbers to block the damaging effects of the sun while protecting your paint
2) reduces static charge so no horrid clingy bits
3) these pictures say it all : http://www.chemicalguysuk.com/Wet_Shine_Mirror_p/wetmrrr.htm

Chemicals Guys : Rocket Polish

Chemical Guys Blog : ultimate one step aerospace premium polish .An anti corrosion polish that contains no harsh abrassives .Originally designed for the areo space industry this refined nano polish delivers an outstanding swirl free high gloss shine.

further to this it also leaves a protective barrier when applied so more protection from imperfections

Applications : apply in circular motions - Microfibre pads / blocks and buff off with heavy, soft, thick MF cloth or better a RaceGlaze Lambswool Mitt you can also get handy tools that hand the process i.e. stick handles that attach to MF pads or hand straps

Pre wax Cleanser
R222 Paintwork Cleanser Polish

This product is an extremely effective non abrasive paint cleanser polish. It chemically cleans the paint without the need for abrasives, leaving a fantastic shine and a smooth surface, ready for the rest of your detail to be carried out. Its gentle formulation will remove ground in dirt, atmospheric pollutants and light marring from your paintwork.

This product is extremely easy to apply and remove, and this coupled with its effective but gentle non-abrasive formula means that it is fully suitable for regular use. R222 Paintwork Cleanser is fully clearcoat safe and can be used on all paint colours and finishes.

OR - Swissvax or Zymol HD Cleanse

Then
Dodo Juice Lime Prime Cleanser for heavily swirled paintwork (or see below for or the lite version for reguluar well maintaind paintowrk)

Use Lime Prime to prepare your cars paintwork and paint panels in readiness for a lovely coating of Dodo Juice wax.

Usage
To use, simply apply Lime Prime to a washed car panel and either remove immediately or leave to buff off. It won't dry out into a caked on layer, even in hot conditions and the micro-abrasives in the juice will have helped remove oxidisation and minor swirl marks!

The cleansing agents will have removed all the grime and old wax with the oils leaving the surface as slippery as a slippery thing (Dodo Juice suggest a greased salamander, but I'm not quite so sure...).

Now the paint is cleansed, grab your favourite Dodo Juice car wax and wax lyrical!

Lite Version Lime Prime For Soft Paint or Pre-Polished Surfaces.

As with Lime Prime, Lime Prime Lite contains powerful cleaning agents and glazing oils designed to give slickness and gloss. However this "lighter" version has all the micro-abrasives removed so it’s perfect for machine-polished surfaces or soft paint, where further cutting action could be a hindrance rather than a help.

Key Ingredients:

•Cleansing agents
•Natural oils

Glaze
To add even more shine to your car add a Glaze which is applied after car polish and before wax. Glaze is made with oils and wetting agents that amplify your paint’s shine and improve the clarity will also produce a dramatic wet look on your paintwork

I reccomend - Chemical Guys EZ Creme Glaze With Acrylic Shine16oz

EZ creme creates a situation that allows the strong ionic polymer to adhere to the surface of the acrylic or urethane top coat , delivering unparalled shine and protection.Acrylic Shine allows for maximum repellency of dirt and reduces the static charge on the vehicle surface and wheels. This product is a fast acting paint restorer with a super light cleaner to remove light marks and ultra fine scratches. It leaves a durable extreme high gloss finish and is an excellent glazing creme for dark and light coloured cars.

Features

Delivers unparalled shine and protection
Light cleaning ability to remove minor imperfections
Reduces static charge ,minimising dust
Easy on easy off formula
Great on dark and light coloured cars

Sealant Very Happy

Sealant wise

First i apply CG JetSeal 109 -

AS PURCHASED/MENTIONED ALREADY IN THE WHEEL SEAL STAGE

then Optimum Opti-Seal

This brand new product is a technological break though. Opti-Seal is a true paint sealant and LSP (Last Stage Product). It comes very highly concentrated, with just a few drops enough to protect an entire normal sized vehicle. It seals and protects paint under a crystal clear barrier of cross-linked polymers. Dirt, moisture, oil, and UV radiation are all sealed out of the paint to maintain optimum gloss.

This premium LSP is incredibly simple to use – simply spray a tiny amount onto the supplied applicator, and wipe over your paintwork – then walk away! The product will dry and cure by itself – no rubbing, no buffing, no removal at all!

The science behind Opti-Seal is revoluntionary. The hyper concentrated polymer sealant begins cross-linking as soon as it hits the paint. Opti-Seal flashes almost immediately to leave a polymer film on the paint. Opti-Seal is not a short-cut product. It is a state-of-the-art, stand-alone spray sealant that provides real, durable protection for paint, plastic trim, and wheels. This is a last step product, not a maintenance product

In a break through for sealants, Opti-Seal can be used over you favourite carnauba wax! Now you can have the warmth and quality of finish of your carnauba, topped with the additional protection and gloss of Opti-Seal, to give you your best ever paint finish and level of protection.

Supplied in a very long lasting concentrated 8oz bottle with pump trigger. Also supplied with its own foam applicator.

THEN

DoDo Red Mist Very Happy

for that extra bit of protection shine and beading
Dodo Juice Red Mist is part quick detail spray, part paint sealant (so not a full sealant, but you must apply one to protect all you wax and hard work polishing etc). It has more protective power than an average detail spray to give your vehicle's paint protection a boost between waxes. This detail spray is compatible on top of paint sealants and waxes. Promotes high levels of beading give a few coats to the car

THE ABOVE CAN ALSO B USED TO TOP UP/MAINTAIN SHINE/SEALANT IN BETWEEN WASHES/SEALANT SESSIONS WITH THE ABOVE

Windows

Ok ... Here we go Glass :
Glass Treatment and Cleaning

After cleaning your car properly the glass prep and finish should be one of the the last stages Wink

1) it doesnt hurt to clay the windows - especially with tree sap etc sticking to them - this can be done through out the washing process IT IS ADVISABLE TO CLAY ON FIRST INITAL APPLICATION OF THE BELOW to ensure you have a clean slate to start on and the protection works effectively

2) Ok start off with the Polish Smile I recommend either Sonus Glass Polish or Zaino Z-12 Clear-View Glass Polish

These can be applied with either a microfibre cloth/pad or a machine polisher.

3) So you have your freshly washed and clayed windows - apply either of the above to the inside and outside of the windows in a circular motion and allow to stand so it creates a haze on the windows. Less is more on the application ! put too much on and you will just end up with white dandruff looking bites everywhere Mad

4) Using a soft thick microfibre cloth buff of the haze to a shine Smile the Dodo Juice - Supernatural Buffing Towel is brill for this

5) Now you have freshly polished the window you need to protect it from : road film, haze, dried on insects, water spots, stubborn bird stains, and that annoying interior glass film that you have just removed. so thats where this comes in :

The XtraVue - Nanofilm Wand :

Increases driver vision by upto 34% during heavy rainfall
Repels rain to improve vision, makes snow and ice easier to remove
Forms a barrier to bugs, bird droppings and tree sap making the glass easier to clean
Lasts upto 1 year (with the correct maintenance)

To Apply :

> A final wipe with some IPA alcohol is recommended
IPA Alcoholic Wipes can be obtained from nearest computer store Maplin sell them at 47p each of you can buy a box for £5-6 or a spray can at £7

>Gently squeeze the applicator with a pair of pliers until the internal glass vial breaks
> Once the sponge is wet application can start
> Apply in circular motions, making sure the glass is completely covered
> Allow upto 5 mins to activate
> Wipe off excess with a clean microfibre towel (a short pile glass towel is best)
> This is a "One Use" product, once the product is activated it cannot be stored for further use
> For best results apply to cool glass in the shade.

To maintain protection

avoid strong glass cleaners and PH neutral shampoos

Glass Cleaner i use is :

Chemical Guys Streak Free Window Cleaner ( which can be diluted for extra value and so its not to strong to effect the Xtra-Vue Wand )

Apply with Glass Waffle Cloth i use the Dodo Juice - "Mint Merkin" Waffle Weave Glass Towel

stand back and admire Smile

Oh right yep links for the above

As for dilution rates its trial and error really just make sure you have some measuring jugs like the cheap sets you can buy in tescos.

Hope this Helps Smile

Metal Cleaning/Sealing

00 Wire Wool (Ultra Fine) or Bronze Wire Wool Ultra Fine (which is better as its less abrassive) and Borla Exhaust Cleaner seal with FinishKare 1000P Hi-Temp Sealant (melts at 250oC + used on aircarft etc)

Clean with :

IF YOU CANT GET HOLD OF THE BOLAN PRODUCT SEE ALTERNATIVE BELOW

Metal polish i.e for exhausts etc ! I know it is very hard to get hold of Borla Exhaust Cleaner (i am running low and having difficulty getting some ) next best thing DoDo Juice Supernatural Fine Cut Metal Polish Kit - gives a great shine and you get the microsuede cloth with it

Seal with

Pollen Duster:

So be extra careful when washing the car and especially drying it - dont want to be rubbing it into the paint work

Time to buy your California Car Dusters ( Extra soft - Brilliant i have one )

http://www.elitecarcare.co.uk/the-original-california-car-duster.php?manufacturers_id=18

Plastic Trims/Wheel arch trims

I recommend Chemical Guys New Look Trim Gel : Key is initial application then you just top up

Best way to do the initial application is to get a spray bottle half alcohol half water and rub down all exterior plastics really well so they are clean and set a good undercoat. then use a foam or microfibre applicator pad to apply the gel - i find the microfibre best as you get and even spread and buff to a shine and it will then dry quickly. its important to clean the area well for the for the initial application (with the alcohol) as it will make it last ALOT longer and then you can just keep topping up when you need to onto of the base coat of gel .Good thing about Chemical Guys New Look Trim Gel is that it is water repelant, beads very well, lasts months not days and it doesnt catch all the horrid grime and dust etc like other products

Before :

After :

(pics aren't great but you get the idea)

you can alter the level of shinyness by the amount you put on :

little blobs = matt black look
Medium thickness lines = matt - wet look
thick amounts = wet and slick

can also be used on tyres and is safe !! hydrates the tyre wall

T sorry I know this sounds daft but where did you get your alcohol from? And what sort?

I used Tesco Value Vodka ( ummm Tasteful , and no i didnt drink any got the bottle with the other cleaning stuff )

you can use metholated spirits but you need to dilute it down

you need to dry it after cleaning then apply

Ok now for the soft top Hood Cleaning and Protecting Very Happy

Renovo Cleaner ( Very Good ) and Porsche Cabriolet Roof Protectant - creates good thick sheild from bird poo, sap and water etc etc - lots of beading Smile

Snow Foaming wise i wouldn't recommend getting it on the rag top when washing and ensure that you have protected the roof before you start the foaming fun - just encase any bits spray goes on its head

Best bet would prob be to buy some of those cheap thin plastic decorator sheets you can get from B&Q etc about £3 for 10-15 sheets, place them over your rag top head and shut the doors on them to ensure they stay put that way. Then u can snow foam your car aswell with out the risk of getting any on the roof Smile not worthy

ANYTHING I HAVE MISSED scratch

SOME REALLY HELPFUL TIPS/QUESTIONS ANSWERED/EXPERINCES ETC

Mini S Mad wrote:

Right question time - In no particuluar order (some may be really stupid

Also prob more to come but these are the only one i can think of the top of my head at the mo

1) When you have snow foamed do you need to dry the car or just leave wet/damp in between doing wheels & wash.

2) If you made up some snow foam & you have some left over, does it store ok in the bottle for next time

3) Whats the best way to wash the dodo cloths after use. Machine wash

4) Whats the best way of drying the inside of my dodo wash mitt. The outside has dried perfectly but inside doesnt seem to want to dry & dont want to ruin it!!

JCW adventures wrote:

1) you should Snow Foam and do the wheels at the same time - wheels should always be done first OR you clean up the bodywork they the brake dust etc goes everywhere and you have to pressure wash it off and it goes on the paintwork Wink

2) Ideally not because of the water going stagnant and if the water is hard in your area it will all sit at the bottom - fresh each time really

3) Th DoDo Cloths - are they microfibre ? if so DO NOT USE normal clothes detergent by a Microfibre specific one so that it throughly cleans of the products use or any contamination and is designed to make the microfibre 'fluffy' again and remove oils - normal detergent is not good for the paintwork and it flattens all the fibre piles Wink Just place in the washing machine and add either

4) Ok little trick for drying the Wookies Fist : after throughly rinsing place in the washing machine on SPIN ONLY - then take out get an empty coke bottle the smaller ones and place in inside to keep it proped open then place in the airing cupboard : once dry brush the 'Fur' with a fine pet combe/brush and Ta Da Very Happy fluffy and ready for use yahoo pompom

Question Time Again (prob silly again but want to get everythin right/in my head

If i have two cars to clay (if i ever take the plunge ) would the 3 bar pack be enough

Is this any good or what else do u recommend http://www.waxamomo.co.uk/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=403&idcategory=11

With the dodo products is it best/cheapest in the long run/to buy the 250ml or 500ml sizes, I was thinking the 250ml of the dodo lime prime & red mist as there only extras & the 500ml for the light as hoping this is the main i can use to keep topped up.

Do u recommend cg bair bones for the enguine bay or what. I've ordered the swisswax stuff gloss stuff but wasn't sure if that best for cleaning

Thanks hun

Looking Good Dawn hours well spent
Yep 3 clay bar pack be plenty enough - What ones you going for ?

I have one of those DoDo Carrier - Very good for keeping it all in one place and it is DoDo what more could you want - although it doesn't fit all my products in

I would buy the 500ml in the Red Mist as once you have used it you will never be without it and then 250ml in the LP
