www.cleanyourcar.co.uk is the best choice but dont always have everything

other alternatives

www.elitecarcare.co.uk

chemical guys uk (direct suppliers) but slow delivery

www.waxamono.co.uk - but a lot of us have had issue with this website

to name but a few

There is a fulll list on page 1 of this thread

i always use Alex at Elite Car Care (plus he is just around the corner from me) or Tim at CleanYourCar

Never had any issues with these two

Waxamomo - yep delivery issues and replacing items with alternative items if its out of stock Mad

oh and Ben at Rubbish Boys - he is brill very fast delivery thumbs up

Dont like the 0844 number to contact at the top the lay out all seems a bit to commercialised where as the others such as CYC and ECC are smaller businesses with customer service in mind at all times Wink and a local number so you can speak to the manager of the business not a machine Wink

A couple more quick questions from me again Razz

1. I have swapped over to the CG sticky orange rim cleaner now my blue rim is starting to no tiouch my wheels Sad Can I use the sticky on tyres like the blue rim Confused

2. Chilli is having new drilled & groved brake disks fitted next week with greenstuff pads & keen to keep them
Looking as new/protect them & not have to do loads of scrubbing. Are any of the metal sealants or jetseal suitable for the job or not/recommend anything else please scratch

Thats all for now

Thanks
Dawn Hug I love you xx

Well thanks to some f*^%*+$ T+^%{# means I need some polish or products to deal with Chilli being keyed. It's gone through the laquer but think it's not gone down to the paint work.

Any ideas

See if you can get a free inspection somewhere with quotes.

If it is just the clear coat then they will be best to do this. Even tho it is less work then adding layersof paint, it is a little tricky.
Someone like GP Steve could give you some beter tips. it would need a clear coat re-applying at the area and some form of machining possibly to level.

Looks like an informative guide but I'm a busy person who only drives my MINI on the weekend. I look after it & clean it but simply don't have the time to go through all that rigmarole on a 2nd car, nor am I interested in winning a concours event. My car is for driving pleasure, not trailering to shows to prevent it getting dirty.
Expect to see it at a club event soon with a myriad of bugs on the windscreen after a good blast on country roads!!!!
