PostSubject: Chemical Guys Glossworkz - Tried and Tested   6th April 2010, 13:45

This Shampoo is simply one of the best i have ever used - the gloss it produces and the way it enhances the paintwork is outstanding

I did a little test with it to see just how well it adds gloss - all that i used during the wash process was the Chemical Guys Glossworkz Exclamation Exclamation
(part from the wheels which i used wheel cleaner - Duh ! Rolling Eyes )

No Snow Foam
No Polish
No Glaze
No Sealant
No DoDo Red Mist

I mean nothing zilch Exclamation Shocked Simply washed and dried and heres the results it produced .....

No seriously, it looks really good. Is it just a std Shampoo - that goes in buckets.....like no lance or pressure washer or fairy's doing the work for you?

Is it affordable for me and where can I get it? I MAY clean my car for next weekend......may!

Chemical Guys Glossworkz Shampoo

http://www.chemicalguysuk.com/product_p/gloss.htm

£8.95 a 16oz bottle (which i initially bought to try it out i have now bought the gallon bottle Embarassed)

This may be an idea though for some of you ... Chemical Guys are doing the 16oz Shampoo and a Lambswool Wash Mitt for £15.95 thumbs up

http://www.chemicalguysuk.com/product_p/glcomb.htm

All i used was the pressure washer to rinse and the shampoo in a bucket of warm water with my mitt and another bucket of warm water to rinse my mitt Wink

Hrm, I can see a purchase coming on! I also need to find a tape that I can put over the bumpers for when I'm waxing - I ALWAYS get wax on the bumpers!

OMG T, based on the cleaning thread I've just spent a small fortune on stuff for cleaning (well stuff for goofy to clean with as part of his birthday present), are you now saying I could have just got this one super dooper product and scrapped all the snow foam stuff including new pressure washer lol!

Still does look good though might be the next purchase when funds have been restored.

I wanted to do a test to see just how effective it was at adding gloss so imagine what its like when the rest of the stuff is applied Very Happy

Saturday i will be stripping back everything and re-applying new coats of wax etc so thats why i did it Wink

No never scrap Snow Foam i was testing its cleaning strength and capabilities

and remember it has no sealant or protection put on it yet which i havent done so i can see how long the shine and beading lasts Wink

No i have left the car on purpose for the protection and wax to deteriorate a total of 3 months - No wax Exclamation glaze or sealant Exclamation only been using the DoDo Red Mist between then so the paintwork had a little level of protection without compromising the test - as i knew the Glossworkz was coming out and wanted to test it properly Wink

I am stripping everything back to clear coat on saturday for reapplication and new shine / protection cheers

Depends when the next pub meet is and whether im working Rolling Eyes
