Right, Karen just reminded me that I promised a few people I would do this at the pub meet.....but then I didn't!

This is the product that Rich from Wales sold to me.

It fits to the buckle of the seat belt and tensions the lap-belt. If you drive in a spirited fashion and slide around in the seat like me it is invaluable. Pins you into the seat much like a racing harness, but only at the lap so the top half of your body is free to move around. I love it, can't imagine not having it now!!

It can be swapped between cars but mine stays where it is! Brilliant bit of kit.

They retail at £50 so unless you want two I would recommend that you buy one with a mate or another member, but they are well worth it!

CG-Lock

With alterations to the Rails/Runners and wiring they do fit Wink

Having had the 2nd GEN Recaros in the JCW and the 1st GEN Recaros in the GP - i have to say with the Recaros in the GP i feel more hugged and the support is a lot deeper compared to the R56 ones - although the 2nd GEN one are good too. I wouldn't have a MINI without Recaros now regardless if 1st or 2nd GEN

Looks like a good bit of kit,
If you have an accident, surely your lower half will be held tight and your top half thrown forwards? Painful Shocked
