I'm after recommendations for people who sort out scratches and dents, preferably those who come to you - like ChipsAway.

Does anyone know anybody I can try? Or have any contacts?

Little Knocks in Wokingham Nik - top notch had loads of body done by him in the past and present on my sisters ST - good thing is not a 'Jack of all trades' only does bodywork/colour coding and alloy wheel repairs not MOTs etc etc. Also not to far from us either.

Ohh and by the way when BMWs bodyshop is busy they send them down to him - he showed me the beamers out back and the invoices from BMW

BMW quoted on my old Cooper (which some idiot scrapped and left it in the M&S carpark F*&^*@$) £500 + labour and if they broke any clips of the bumper i would have to pay for them to.

£80 cash done and dusted and it was metallic paintwork and you honestly couldn't tell. Clean workshop and good equipment ( i asked to have a look around and checked )

Never needed one Nik but I'd always start by asking the dealer who they use because if they are happy with them then they should be ok - if that makes sense

Yeh they do insist on seeing the damage before they will touch it to asses etc which is good to know.

Chips away can be a bit hit and miss as they are franchised, unless you already have a contact for someone reliable

hi nik if your still looking for one i have a number of someone which my boss have to me when i was thinking about get a repair done to my old car but then i sold it so never had it done but my boss had work done on his 3 series. he told me that he use to work for chips away but now works for himself so give him a try if you want.
