Hi Guys!

Long time no see!

i have been busy upgrading my audio set up and have fitted an EDGE 10" sub in the boot. i am looking at upgrading the rest with the same products but i am unsure about the front speakers. Could anyone please tell me what the original size speakers are in the front doors of my 2005 cooper cabriolet and what sizes fit straight in?

You can fit 13cm or 16,5cm
Both will need a spacer ring which you can buy ready to fit with original screws or you can make up rings from MDF

How easy was it to wire up! did you take the wires down the passenger door pannels or under the carpet?

i have now wired both sub and amp all power cables go down left hand side of gearbox tunnel as the access to the battery is in the n/s footwell behind the glove box. all audio cables are down the right hand side of gear box tunnel as they cause interference. speaker wiring runs down sills into the boot. all wiring runs under the carpet but make sure you do not damage any when you put the car back together you really need to tuck it down the side of the gearbox tunnel there is alot of polystyrene packers and thick parts of backing on the carpet some bits are tricky.
