PostSubject: Ready To Wash? Or Am I?   31st December 2010, 18:18

I am guilty of previously putting my car in the hands of the Russian Car Wash (it was an old motor) and now I need to go back to doing it myself.

Been out the game for a long time and never really detailed, I usually just wash, rinse, & Mer, then buff.

Ordered 2 x Buckets & Grit Guards and also got this in the basket ready to pay.....

Dodo Juice - Austintatious Wax
Dodo Juice - Supernatural Wash Mitt
Dodo Juice - Sour Power Shampoo 500ml
Dodo Juice - Need For Speed 500ml
Dodo Juice - Red Mist Tropical 500ml

Dont want to clay, but any other advise or tips / preferences based on experience appreciated!

Be careful with Sour Power with the Ratios - as suggested with the name 'sour' it can be too strong if not diluted properly which can strip wax - best to use SPower when its really dirty to be honest and DoDo Born To Be Mild in between if you want to sticky to DoDo Range Very Happy

Id avoid the Supernatural Shampoo as its not very slick.

Chemical Guys - Miracle Dryer Ultra Absorbent
DoDo Juice Supernatural Towel (its huge!!)

I tend to then have a Dodo Juice - Supernatural Premium Buffing Cloth on hand for the dribbles of water that leak out and they buff the car very well too after it has been dried ready for the next stage.
