PostSubject: Some mods and a dyno run on our MCS   16th August 2011, 23:01

We took the Mini to P-Torque in Wolverhampton yesterday for some mods.

First dyno run to see how healthy she was gave us 196 bhp and 213 lb/ft. Only mods were an ITG filter and JCW iridium plugs. Will said it was a strong engine for near enough standard spec.

Then Will fitted a de-cat, Forge FMIC and worked his magic on the ECU.

Final figure......249.4bhp with 286 lb/ft of torque.

I'm over the moon with her now.

The de-cat was about £136 and the intercooler was £480..... well worth it IMO.

The car looks like any other MCS........shocked some people in bigger cars when we pull away lol.
