Although I suspected a harder wearing one would be needed. Maybe I'll give it another coat when I manage to wash the car in the dry!!

Just been having a little look for wax info in regards to our waxes ie Your Megs NXT my Megs Crystal shine!
Here's a link which explains about waxes a little more!
http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/ask-expert-featuring-mike-phillips/20453-can-nxt-used-lsp-following-synthetic-sealant-2-0-a.html

I think that the nxt wax is an ok wax but really you want a better wax for longer duration ability! something containing Carnuaba which is a natural wax! I don't think the NxT wax contains any natural Carnauba mostly a synthetic blend of chemicals! (check the ingredients, if listed?)
Megs crystal shine Carnauba wax is a blend of other stuff too not a pure Carnauba, but seems to last quite a while!
It also depends as the link says on your pre-wax body clean proceses.
Poorboys do some good Pure Carnauba waxes which you can get from the cleaning products supplier link you supplied ( I forgot who they are now!)

You have to take into consideration the guy talking about 'joe consumer' as someone other than himself! Well I consider myself 'joe consumer' and therefore am not an expert! But this a great way to learn together by researching and testing different products between us!

This will obviously be ongoing and I will look forward to more info between us, and anyone else of course!
I love the pic in this link of the early 60's batman car!

It's more like a polish Dave, meant to be a wax, but if it is it certainly doesn't last too long!!
