We were already in discussions with www.magnetisedmini.com for badges. You may recall Rob had quite a few 'darkside' badge logos made which a few members have. Dan and I have customised SNM badges (not approved though). I had discussed with James the options of having a group order got the pricing etc but we needed an adjusted logo as the one we have does not show up well on the badges. If I get a decent design I am happy to go with the company we already have and take orders.

Ok, I liked these ones as there was little (if any) fiddling around with the mounting kit. I think the magnetised mini ones need you to remove the grill and use nuts & bolts, whereas the GoBadge ones don't need you to remove anything as they are all held on with long velcro bands that fit around the verticals of the grill.

TBH if GoBadges provide a free design service it might be worth sending them the logo and see what they come back with.

Magnetized Mini provided the same service but the Logo is the clubs property and James wanted to ensure the design was within his original criteria.

Ok, I get the feeling that the supplier has already been decided so I'll drop that for the offical logo. Very Happy

I myself will be looking to get some from GoBadges really like the 3D ones and as I mentioned before the fixing of the mounting plate.

Martin - the provider has not been decided it was just an option that was being considered at the time as members were asking for grill badges. Think those of us that have magnetised ones even if it means cutting the grill have been pleased. The issue has always been the logo and what is acceptable to James and the other mods, especially for official SnM merchandise.

Ok, thats cool - we shall wait for the offical decision, as the logo must be correct. What do your 'unoffical' ones look like?

There is not reason why we cant use both suppliers once they design has been drawn up. Then everybody can get the badge they want. I know some members already have the magneticmini ones but some will want the 3d domed ones.

In regards to a logo that will fit onto the badge let me do some digging and find out.

Have got a Magnitized MINI holder and badges, but have to see the Go Badges ones look awesome. Very tempted.
