Would this fit my Cooper sd do you know?
I think the engines in the way but not sure?

I'm guess it will depend on the airbox clearance!

I think the SD's and D's are the other way around to the petrol and my D as I think the turbo is now at the back of the engine bay.

As Dave says, you will need to check the clearances carefully.

May be a silly surgestion but have alook at the kit part numbers on real oem
That will tell you for shore If there the same

I have never been able to work out the real oem webby
I belive the part number is 51.71.0.442.352
Just had a try at it but couldnt work out if it willl fit or not!
Just waiting on a reply back from a dealer which will proberly be Monday now......... affraid

Part 51710442352 (Strut brace) was found on the following R56 vehicles:

No Mention of a sd

Just ahad a reply off total mini
Nope. Won't fit as it touches the top of the engine.

There aren't any on the market yet that will fit!

You may also find it is tight on the extra sound insulation under the bonnet (as compared to the petrol versions) although whilst the earlier Ds had this I don't know about the later ones such as your's.
