The chrome tips with JCW engraved on them are the stage 1 exhaust tips, whereas the factory jcw ones are polished up steel, no engraving. Not sure what a matt black tip is...

I have heard that alot of people prefer the Factory exhaust over the stage 1 exhaust. I guess thats down to sound?

Cheaper yes but 500 notes is still ouchhh. I cant believe they were around 350 then bang went up to 500+. I wouldnt mind a second hand 1 but they seem to be a myth, they must be good ha

Who quoted you that? I paid less than that for my Clubman JCW and that's more expensive than an R56 one! Have you tried our Club Sponsor, Berry Heathrow?

I may be selling mine soon to return Kipper to stock - PM me if interested and I will give you first dibs. They are indeed now £500 new; not sure if redesigned though - just BMW realising they were missing a trick Wink
