Now, My knob has taken a bit of a battering of late, it can be a bit sharp and scratchy and the only thing that saves my hand is my knob warmer! When can I get a replacement Gear knob from and which ones are best?

Doesn't the R56 one also fit? You could have the one JCWwarrior is punting. Alternatively there are a load on Ebay, or go all out for Chrimbo and get a Whalen!

I thought Chris had that one? I would love a Whalen....but I would love a lot of other things at the same price slightly more!

Ok back on topic Laughing

Yes the r53 are prown for the silver rim to chip & come off & become sharp. I had to replace chilli's back in the summer. I personally put a wanted post on Tm & got a brand new one of another member in exchange for a bag of chocolate Laughing

I would try the other forums or ebay or do a wanted post like i did

Whos JCWwarrior Neutral Rolling Eyes

and yep sorry as already stated above ^ Chris is indeed having the Gear Knob - i handed it to Daves custody last night for the safe delivery to Chris

Moley - the JCW ones are nice and feel just right (ive got that one) - the roundness of the other standard one is too bulky - id say go for the JCW Carbon Fibre one you can get it in leather or alcantara then get the JCW hand brake lever to match - Ta Daa !! Very Happy
