Thank you Rob, all my threads are going like this at the moment!

I haven't fitted it yet, I'm sending that one back as a faulty one and a new one is being ordered. So I should have it by beginning of next week I would imagine.

On the off topic topic of why your threads keep going this way, Nik: if you flirt in public, you get teased by everyone in public - it's not a mystery lol (and in my old fashioned book, calling someone 'naughty husband' is flirting) Razz

Get SVG to promise to buy you a new one if they break any tabs!

I am now thinking about once the scoop is fitted, what do I do about stripes?

Anyone have any suggestions - I want to avoid the black touching the carbon fibre I think, as I'm not sure how well they will match.

I bought it through a contact at BMW UK, as he gets the parts cheaper - all my parts have come from him actually - so he just asked the question to the parts department and they have told him to fill out return paperwork, and then he'll order a new one for me.

I'm very relieved, as is my Dad - don't think he fancied spending another £100+ on one! Razz

Yeah, it was very annoying! I hate having to wait though, I've wanted it for ages, and now have to wait again. Hopefully it will be worth it when its on though. Smile
