Hi Harry, ive got a Cooper S and changed my front discs to EBC Dimpled and Grooved ones and just left the rear ones as standard BMW Mini ones (as only 30% approx of the breaking done on the rear). I also changed all of the pads to EBC Greenstuff ones (they have different colours depending on what you drive like (eg reds for hard breaking/racing)

In my opinion they are pretty good and work well with the discs and my driving style - but just one thing to mention about any break changes and thats to ensure you give then a bit of bedding in time

Might b worth speaking to will at TWG. He changed the discs and pads on My wife's cooper, did a great job and price was really competitive (under £200). I know the JCW ones will be more, but it maybe worth a call.

I use Mtec as do a few others over on MT and TM. Can't fault for value! And I've put them to them to the test and I couldn't believe how well they kept me safe Smile

Hi Everyone,

My front pads and discs will need changing on my fJCW within the next few weeks so have been looking around. Have been offered EBC discs and Ferrodo pads for £170. Is this good? Anyone used them? Have any Feedback?

Does anyone have any other alternatives i could look at for around the same price?

While i am at it, what do people use on the rears?

Thanks in advance

Harry

Buy the best quality you can afford. Cheaping out on brakes and tyres is one of the stupidest things you can ever do on a car.

What type of Ferrodos are they? If they are the Ds2500 then they are very good pads from cold to hot.
