PostSubject: Mirror Caps   18th January 2010, 11:21

I know I can buy new Mirror caps (not sure how much these are...any ideas?) but a long while ago while hungover I scratched them on a wall while doing battle with an inconsiderate 4x4 driver. The cuts are about 1mm - anyone know of a way to fix them without buying new? If I sand them is it black gloss all the way down or will I take it back to primer?

Well, I think they used to be coloured plastic. So white ones were white, black ones black.

But just having got a new one they are now all primed and have to be painted!!

So anyone know what would happen/look like if I sanded them?

Sanding filling and painting probably best! Try sanding if it don't work then fill and repaint another colour! Any colour! Wink If you wanted a black satiny / flattish colour you sould Pdip! that would fill the grooves more than likely! Wink
