| To replace Dunlop SP Sport 3000's. Were £64 a corner all in, so much cheaper for starters. Here's some info. Falken ZE912 at tyre reviews - the online tyre guide Had my heart set on Uniroyal Rainsport 2's, and had a great price of £308 all in for all 4, but couldn't get them in 205/50/r16 and ran out of time as I've been running on worn tyres for far too long. So decided that if I couldn't get what I really wanted I'd go for the money saving option, and in the original size of 195/55/r16! So far I'm pleased. Not as quiet or smooth as I was perhaps hoping, but my expectations may have been to high. It is quieter and more comfy so hoping over time it will improve further. Less tram-lining and I was getting wheel wobble under braking which has gone. Grip is great!! The biggest improvement by far. Less aquaplaning too, seem to cut through standing water and don't get the traction control light on!! I was concerned that the softer walls would mean more roll or less feedback, but the handling is just as sharp as before. Will report back further findings! _________________ Cuddle Monkey- Jack the Black Cooper - 121.8bhp - CB001 - SnM001.5 http://www.jamesaustin.tumblr.com And Daddy to William |

| Same tyres as me, although in a slightly different size (I think) They were recommended by my local tyre shop, so went with it, as anything else would have been quite a bit more... |

| Good point Gilly! how are they treating you James, would you get them again or try something new? Are they coping with the torrential rain ok? _________________ SnM001.5 | "Jelly Eating Champion 2010" | DSOC007 |

| Been absolutely fine. Still seem pretty sticky in the wet. I would still like to try the Uniroyals but for the price I'm really happy. Think they're wearing pretty well too. Do you have the 912's then Dave?? _________________ Cuddle Monkey- Jack the Black Cooper - 121.8bhp - CB001 - SnM001.5 http://www.jamesaustin.tumblr.com And Daddy to William |

| Thanks for the reply James. Bee needs some more tyres (no change there then!) and fancy a change from the Toyos T1 R's which I have been happy with but can be a bit indifferent in the wet. |

| Try the rainsports if you can Gilly - supposed to be AMAZING in the wet - I think James will try them next too _________________ SnM001.5 | "Jelly Eating Champion 2010" | DSOC007 |

| Cheers will see what sort of price I can get them for. Ron has just had a new engine and Bee had advisories after her first MOT so the cash is most definitely not flowing at the moment!! |
