PostSubject: Countryman Owners Club   4th May 2016, 20:16

I like to start this off by say hello and Welcome

I own a R60s All4 auto.

Would like to know about your Countryman's.
As I don't think there's a big enough  following for them.

Look forward to hearing from you all.

Thanks
Sam

Great looking car and Chilli red is one of the best colours. thumbs up

I've had a Chilli red Cooper S, a black and red JCW and now a white F56 JCW. But I still think the red's my favourite

Thank you Michael.

Yea the chilli red is by far the best looking colour. "well I think"
What made you buy a white F56?
I bet the white looks great when it's clean but once it gets dirt I bet it's noticeable.

I didn't want black again as it shows every single mark and takes ages to keep clean and wasn't sure about the new red MINI are doing. I liked the white as soon as I saw it as it gave me a blank canvas to work with as it doesnt have a contrast roof colour. And it had some JCW badges on it Very Happy

So Ive added red decals on the bonnet and sides and am looking in to designing ones for the roof. The white is actually pretty good for not showing the dirt, better than I thought. Even so I still wash every weekend without fail and rinse it during the week just for good measure. MINI Wash

you can see it in my other posts 'back in the mini family'

Not actually an owner but I do get to drive my Dad's Countryman from time to time.

It's a Cooper D automatic in blazing red, fairly low spec but I did get him some chequered mirror caps for his birthday last year to personalise it a bit.

It's a bit different to the GP to drive, but I enjoy driving it. It feels compact, bowls along nicely once you get it up to speed, and still has that MINI feel when you throw it into a corner  Very Happy  Driving

Thanks. It now has black head and tail light rings and is going in shortly to have a pro aero kit fitted and a black grille surround.

It's nice to see another countryman on the road looks great. The mirror covers look good to really make it pop.

Your GP looks good too I bet that's a blast to drive.

Hi Sam.
I got a 2013 2litre diesel All4 auto earlier this year...and love it! Question for all you Countrymen and women tho, does your fan cut in much? Random times too, not even when it's a hot day or the thing has been in stop/start traffic

Hello Laura.
Welcome to the Countryman/Countrywoman club. Well the fan on my Countryman comes on at some random times too. I do a lot of urban driving to so mostly stopping and starting. It mostly comes on if I'm using the air con. Do you have the mini connect system ?
