inevitable really, having just watched the TG Tesla review film I think we'll see electric cars from all the big players sooner rather than later Very Happy

True Lee, I was at BMW/MINI a couple of years ago and tested among others an i3..

Very impressed, while talking to one of the development engineers I said I was surprised MINI didn't further develop the electric MINI of a few years back (I think 2010/2011) the guy just winked and said he couldn't comment! So I drew my own conclusions that something was on the way Very Happy

Electric cars are certainly a lot better than they used to be, and I can see their popularity increasing over the next few years - in particular the plug in hybrids.

However, in the longer term, I'm pretty sure it'll be hydrogen cars. BP/Esso/Shell would be almost redundant if electric cars were the vast majority, so they'll throw money at hydrogen... A hydrogen hybrid would be pretty interesting though and far more ecologically sound than an electric car.
