That's the same as mine.... the software was quick the nav took ages!

What did you pay for the lifetime code if you don't mind me asking Sam?

Good stuff... and with the lifetime code you'll be able to waste another 90 minutes of your life when the new update arrives in May (I think).

I see you are from West Sussex Sam, there is a new road open on the a259 (don't know if you use it) between Felpham and Bognor then the North Bognor bypass.... this 2017 update doesn't have that road on it and it opened in May 2016 Sad

Aha! Yes I will! - oh is it not? Maybe it'll be on 2017-2, I see the northern bypass is on there though.

Yes that bit is there, the Felpham to mc donald's/ Halfords roundabout isn't though!

Strange!

Oh well... its got to be better than the 2011 - 2 maps I had on there!

Indeed, although I didn't get the lifetime code stupidly! I paid 29.99 for a one off use... i'm happy though, after all you don't need the sat nav for places that you know well! Just wish there was a way of adding speed cam warnings to the MOVE system, but as yet I haven't found a solution.... plenty of phone apps can handle that though.

That's a shame, an extra £10. Oh well, as you say you don't often use it. Just nice to have an up to date map to look at. That would be a nice feature. I guess you can't add anything like that though.

Nothing to do with sat navs but we went down to Bognor this afternoon for a walk in the sun, it's only about 45/50 miles each way and one of the nearest beaches to us Smile

I use that all the time now when heading west at anything other than quiet times to miss the Arundel bottleneck. Until I got the latest Tom Tom update a couple of months back, it always showed me driving across the fields. Smile

Doesn't look like a usual Photobucket link to me Chris.

Email it over and I'll try and post it.

Hi Chris....

That link is a photo of your software version for the bluetooth and external USB devices. It is out of date and is very quick & easy to update. I'll pop the file up you need.

The sat nav version is something different though.... no need for a photo, just have a look and post up the year and the type.... pretty sure it will say "MOVE" and your year of manufacture. I'll then pop up the sat nav file you need.

Here is the software link for the update....just pop the last 7 digits of your vin number into the box and download the file.

Will it load to my iPad or phone as I don't use a labtop to load onto a USB stick.

Can't do anything at the moment as husband has popped out with my MINI

Chris, if you go to the map so it's showing on the screen, then push the knob to the right, and scroll to the bottom it says something like 'software version' click that and you will see the screen above.

Regarding the software update, it will need to be done on a computer. You won't be able to do it on an iPad I'm afraid.
