 Rear end knocking sound?

I keep hearing a knocking sound comming from the rear end of the car every time i go over a bump.
I think im going to book it in for the dealers to have a look at but does anyone have any ideas as to what it could be?
My dad thinks it could be a loose exhaust?

Sorry to be obvious, but nothing loose in boot or maybe in toolkit? Space saver back wheel and if so is it done up tight?

Its good to be obvious because ive usaully missed something! Actually It could be something loose in the toolkit, il check next time im out, not the spare wheel as i dont have one

I didn't plant her, I lost her! Sounds like the sound I had in my boot just before I lost her Laughing lol!


Is the sound a hollow metallic rattle? If it is, it probably is your exhaust. If its something else, worst case, suspension, best case, first aid kit!

Could it be the boot chatch Max Question I mentioned a knocking sound when I took Alice to the dealer last year when she went in for some work & that's what it turned out to be, might be woth checking it thumbs up

That would make sence Chris, thinking about it i thin thats what it might be as its more of a muffled knocking than a metallic rattle.
