Ok, a bit of background.....

Mrs Matt has a BMW 5-series Touring which is coming up to being three years old soon and therefore due it's first MOT. We are moving house this week/next week and everything is in boxes, including all the car's paperwork.

'The Moon' (so called because it has the same mass as our planet's orbiting companion), had it's first service at Barons some time ago.

Yesterday I had a letter from Barons saying that the MOT is due in the near future and to call to book it in. I have taken the trouble to recreate the conversation in glorious prose below.

Service Lady – “Barons service something something blah blah blah…..”

Me – “Good morning friend, I have a BMW 5-series Touring for which I pay you an extortionate amount of money to service and I have received a telegram from your good selves this morn kindly informing me that ‘The Moon’ is due for it’s MOT. When is it due?”

SL – “You want me to tell you when your car’s MOT is due?”

M – “Well, if it’s not too much trouble…….” Evil or Very Mad

SL – “Humph, well…..”

M – “I really wouldn’t want to put you out. Would you like the registration number to help you with my outrageous request, it’s *******?”

SL – “It’s due on August 12th.”

M – “Thank you for your time, good bye.”

SL – *click*

Honestly…………… Rolling Eyes

REALLY soon then - Why are you still using them.....duck and roll! Get out of there while you still can....or until they find out you know Dave and then force-ably remove you from the forecourt!

Indeed, where I live now is 'technically' Farnham but I can see Aldersh!t from my house!

I know friends that live on Cranmore Lane (Aldershot) and they always say "the outskirts of Farnham" and i go out of my way to take the mick and correct them Laughing

Customer Service - you will be waiting a VERY longgggggggggg time for it bounce
