Any idea if it will work with a case on the phone or not? Unlikely, bt I'll let you know when it gets here.. I'm noping it will also allow video rather then having to plug it in at the front. Was also thinking of trying the iPod Classic in there.. |

... will be giving them a call tomorrow, hopefully they will take it back.. That is a shame Sounds like it isn't as advertised, so you should be able to get your money back. I checked out the site and it does mention MINI connected etc. |

| I didn't realise the snap in's were supposed to control the iPod part of the phone too, thought it was just to give full integration on the phone side of things. Which i always found odd seeing as I can't see how much more integrated my basic Bluetooth could be - other than actually charging the phone! |

Yup, if you have Visual Boost, the armrest snap-in shows up as a media source - with this snap-in loaded the iPhone still doesn't show up, if you hit play on the iPhone music comes out of the phone. Although it does charge the phone! but £70 for a charger is a little steep! |

| I'm confused.. The snap-in it says in the manual can be used for MINI connected - in fact it's required for most of the applications including mission control. So why when I plug the iPhone into it does it only charge it, the same as you said? |

So why when I plug the iPhone into it does it only charge it, the same as you said? For each phone there ar 3 snap-ins; 1. Basic - charges only (yours) 2. Music - iPod music type functions incl. Charging. 3. Media - 1&2 above plus mini connected. Meant to do video as well but doesn't appear to work on mine. |

| On tM there is a thought that the one I have is the BMW version, although they should be compatible, it maybe why some dealers can't find them and you cannot view videos on my snap in. |
