.... £226.84 before I add on NCD protection and legal protection. Direct Line are still cheaper than Flux if outside the M25!

Do any of you get an agreed value. Lazybones has it but with a restricted mileage. We also do it on our Classics. Best £16 per car ever spent. Krakatoa would be worth about £3,500 if we were lucky. Photos, receipts for work and just gone down from £13,000 to £11,000 agreed value. Comforting.

Recently insured with Adrian Flux over 20 years since my last policy with them. They have never previously been competitive for a car or a motorcycle & initially were great & seemed to want to bite my hand off to insure my MINI. After a few admin problems, which resulted in me losing my rag with their CUSTOMER SERVICE department, things were resolved as far as the insurance policy was concerned for now, however just got my phone bill & found to my horror that its cost me over £20 in calls to be spoken to like some fool by calling their 0844 number which is charged as a peak rate call & not included in most landline or mobile suppliers bundles. Heaven forbid that I might ever need to make a claim......... Maybe I could take out a mortgage for the calls & get therapy for the stress on the NHS !
The stress & frustration, plus the additional costs made the amount saved on the policy seem worthless & I for one will be looking for a new insurer next year.
Sorry to say this about a club sponsor but there we are. And yes I have privately discussed my unhappiness about the situation to Dan from Adrian Flux who is a club member......

I pay £220 for my JCW and am with Sheila's wheels. Only with them as I was on my wife's policy last yr and have now transferred 5yrs of her no claims to me so I have my own policy. They are very easy to deal with to arrange cover, but.....have proved a complete nightmare to deal with since my wife had an accident. Someone hit her from behind and admitted liability. We had the car repaired straight away which was good, but that was 4/5 months ago and we are still waiting for the excess to be returned. They now say that the other persons insurance company are disputing the repair costs and they won't return the excess. But I guess that's insurance companies for you and they are happy to take your cash but not return it when its due. Deep joy............ Mad

£500 all in with everything declared via admiral. When you ring up though you have to ask for the Wales call centre as the Indian one is frankly awful in most cases!
