Paceman Going into Production

It seems as if the rest of the automotive press can’t quite get it right when it comes to the Paceman. First there were those patent renderings that were wrongly reported to be of the production Paceman when in fact they were simply for the concept car. Then today Car and Driver reports (with great fan-fare) that the Paceman will go into production. The only problem? It was confirmed for production last January by MotoringFile and other European news outlets......

looks very much like a Countryman front end? Apparently it'll have clubman type rear doors on both sides, but be about the size of the hatchback.

Sorry, but i dont see the point in it. What gap is it filling?

They'll be unveiling the next gen clubman having two rear clubdoors I predict!

From what I can tell it's a coupe countryman? Still not sure how that fits? The one I'm more worried about is Rocketman, as as far I can see that's the MINI they should have built in the first place if they can make one that small.
