Hi

OK, so after finding out that my car has no engine water / oil temp gauges, I am considering one of these units... however I dont want to turn my dashboard into Darth Vaders bathroom!

Can anybody with one fitted offer insight into how they achieved a neat and tidy instal?

I am thinking of sitting it under the row of switches where the electric windows are worked from...

Is there a way to shorten the cable from the Scangauge (as I am thinking that this spot is close to the OBD2 port and I will end up with loads of unwanted wire)

I have one in the right hand corner of window fixed with with hook and loop tape, the cable is run neatly round the pillar trim down the inside of the rubber on the door edge then the spare cable tuck up by the obd port
