| Was trying to get my stock exhaust free this evening before fitting my new one in the morning. I cant get the bolts on the flange after the cat to undo. They are soo F**king tight! Any one got any tips? |

| Had the same trouble with mine I ended up cutting them off . |

| I had to take Janets one to Kwik Fit to undo the nuts they got some heat to them and tried to undo them and they where F---ing Tight so had to get cherry red and then they came undone, they tighten them up and I took it home and sorted the exhaust out |

| Thanks alot! sounds like heat might be the order of the day tomorrow. Fingers corssed. Will let you know how I get on. If I do end up cutting them off what did you use? there is not alot of space to do the top bolt. |

| Yep as Bruce says thay will snap or you need to cut them off,mine was the same,think coz thay get so hot the weld the selfs,good luck, |

| Make sure you use impact sockets (and an impact wrench if you have one). The impact sockets are hexagonal as opposed to bihexagonal and so hopefully won't round the nuts off. As others have said - plenty of penetrating oil and try tomorrow. |
