Hi Everyone,

When i bought my MINI they gave me a cable to be able to play music through the USB and AUX port. When ever i try and play music it sounds awful. Its booked into MINI to have a few things fixed including the port. But was thinking, did they give me the correct cable? How do i know if it is though?

I think that if theyd given you the wrong cable it wouldnt work at all. I hav an iPhone 5 and as yet mini havnt made a cable that is compatible
I've been told it won't be for a while yet. In the meantime I connect mine via Bluetooth and the sound quality is excellent.

Bluetooth music isn't an option for a MINI of mine and Harry's age though.
Harry, I've had music issues in the past, on Cooper Dave & Sausage, normally traced to the Aux part of the cable not sitting quite right, it's quite susceptible to movement

The iphone 4 Y lead cable woks with the iphone 5 if you have the docking station adapter plug!
