I ordered the Craven Speed iPhone holder for my R55 from Lohen and fitted it in 15 minutes this morning.
I read loads of positive reviews from our American cousins so I bit the bullet and forked out £70 for the fitting kit.
Lohen (the only importers of Craven Speed stuff) were really quick to dispatch and the quality of the kit is what you'd expect for the price.
To fit you need to remove a couple of Torx screws which hold the rev counter to the top of the steering column surround.
Careful not to drop them. I dropped one and it disappeared into the dash somewhere. Hopefully some enthusiastic cornering will relocate it into the foot well!!
Then you remove a couple of self tapping screws from the rear of the rev counter and then attach the curved arm using the spacers and longer screws provided. The spacers are needed because the rear of the rev counter is curved!
Then you just need to set the angle of the iphone holder with an Allen key and spanner.
You can mount to either the left or right hand side of the rev counter. I've gone for the right hand side and ordered a longer charge cable for the phone.
Lohen even sent me a couple of free stickers (you can choose the colour)
So far so good. Lets see how it performs.
