After reading greigjcw excellent post on detailing thought I would take on board a few of his recommendations and have a go at this snow foam that seems all the rage so I purchased the recommended lance and actifoam in his thread from clean your car.http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=371 and the XLS actimousse Autosmart Actimousse XLS touch free shampoo 1000ml NEW | eBay from e- bay.

Heading his warning about being cautious about using the product on refurbished wheel and on a dry car I quickly covered up the wheel with an old ground sheet as the black clouds gathered overhead i managed to apply to foam to a dry car and waited patiently for the 10 mins to pass pressure washing the dust off my partners car whilst I waited.

Ok time to rinse and as if on queue the heavens opened and it chucked it down talk about timing with the hose I washed off the remaining foam and then went indoors to fill my new buckets also as recommended by greigjcw from clean my car Car Wash Bucket with Grit Guard - Clean Your Car and was surprised to find that the grit guard was not actually a friction fit and it actually, floats! But it does do as it supposed to judging by what was in the bottom of the bucket when they were emptied... Just need to treat myself to some more polishing products now as currently only using simoniz diamond wax.

That looks really good.thumbs up
Tom at TK detailing recommended Britemax Blackmax polish and Britemax Vantage wax to me. Its really easy to use and gives a long lasting great finish. Might be worth also investing in some sealant/detailer to give it an extra shine and protection. I use Waxtec detailer/sealant and Britemax Extreme elements polymer sealant. This is mine when I did it a couple of weeks ago.
