Hi Everyone
The floor of my mini is saturated in the rear passenger side.
Only the floor in that one area, all other floor space and all seats are dry. The roof is also dry. I haven't a sunroof.
It's not a spillage, it doesn't smell, not a funny colour or even water from washing the car.
I have 58 model cooper.
Any ideas I can try before taking her for an expensive trip to the mini garage?
I am devastated and very worried.

Sounds an odd one. Just been out and looked at mine to try and gauge where it may be coming from. If it was coming in through the rear window seal, I would think that the side panel would be wet as would the rear seat.

If it was me, I'd be ringing Will at TWG (club sponsor) tomorrow AM and asking his advice, I've always found him really helpful and knowledgeable.

There's a few bits in here (some of which are sunroof related which you can ignore) that may be relevant. Door seal?

Thanks so much phil and Michael. All very useful. I have spoken to Will and he suspects a seal leak. Now need to fin a good local mechanic to fix her. Appreciate all your help so much.

Sounds like it needs a new pollen filter.

It maybe worth your while asking Will to do it. I know its a bit of a trip for you but atleast you know the job will be done well by a MINI specialist and Will is also perfectionist. You get a club discount too....

Sorry jack am I missing something here ?

my old car the leaked in the footwell due to the pollen filter needing replacing. didnt know if it was the same thing
