My experiences with them haven't been too bad. Have had both Toyo T1Rs and also Yokohama Parada Spec 2s which seem to both be similar.

I will start with dry handling. Toyos are very good. I wouldnt say as good as the Yokos but are cheaper and the difference in grip isn't majorly noticeable. So they are better value.

In the wet. Dont expect to go round the corners too fast haha. Hardly any grip. I got absolutly demolished by a Diesel golf the other day in the rain. I was pushing as hard as i cold. He sailed past me like i was stood still.

I will run T1Rs during the summer, then changing to winter tyres from now on.

I run them in the front, great in dry, good ish in the wet depending on temp, if it's really cold and wet ul spin ur wheels easy. If it's wet and not to cold they are fairly ok and have supposed me a few times gripping the road well at times. Good for the money IMO

I use them all the time, tried 4's but not as good ones.

Tried most things keep going back.

But was given some info on Excalibur's. They're a budget tyre but they're that good people are selling them as a performance tyre. I've found a place in Essex were I'm working that'll that sell them for £55-00 fitted.

I know an old Thread but

I run my R53 on T1-Rs
Although gone up a couple of sizes, now. 225/45-17s just fit under the arches

I also use T1-Rs on the Jaguar XKR, again up a few sizes on the rears, now 285/40-18s
