Went to check my oil today and noticed this:





Is it just mine that has this issue, or is it a lack of attention to detail? I'd imagine it's an N18 issue as the engine is different on the top, but surely it shouldn't do this?!

Mine has the same I had a good look and I worked out it was the black cap on top of my air conditioning fill up pipe I adjusted the pipe all ok now. Not sure if your n18 has it in the same place.

Er, I would ask what happened to your sound proofing though? It seems to be missing!

How strange, I had some (albeit smaller) on the Cooper S Clubman before, and obviously on the Dooper too.

None on mine too

I'll have to mention that! I'm not too fussed about the missing carpet, but the paint is another matter! Seems some lazy workshy type in swindon/oxford hasn't performed their checks properly!
