| I Booked my Car in Between Xmas & New Year for some Warranty Work and to have the Spots Fitted. The Date was 18th Jan and I arranged to Drop it off on the Saturday 16th so they could have it from Cold to listen to the engine noise and collect a loan Car. I turned up on the Saturday - No Loan Car So We arrange to pick it up from my Work on Monday before 10am. 11-15 Car Gets collected and a Loan Dropped off - Washer Bottle Empty. Collect My Car yesterday - It has to go back for the engine Noise. The Spots they fitted, one is loose. I have a problem with the fuel gage - they didnt fix that. I forgot to tell them not to wash my Car. I saw it under the lights of the Petrol Station last night, It is covered in Light Scratches Not a very Successful Visit IMO. They did manage to Fix the Seat not locking after it is Moved by Lubricating it - I could have done that myself with a Can of WD40

| The "Service" Center in Ash More like the " No Service " center in Ash. Whats going on dealer service centers at the moment? Did you register your email address with them, as they send you a "hope you had a fantastic service" email. I had to keep re-writing my one. I did'nt think they would like the Gordon Ramsey style of wording I used.

Oh no the paintwork - you should always put a sign up in the windows for them not to wash it - thats with all dealers ! Did you request a loan car before you got there ? As for the stop light id have told them to tighten it there and then Most importantly are they going to fix the cold start noise ? as in did they here the rattle ? or is that for when you return ?

Sounds horrible Read in EVO this month that they had an AMG55 in the dealers for some small warranty work, came out with 140 miles on the clock - They had been taking it away for the weekend!! It begs belief it really does! I'm going to move this thread to the Dealer feedback section

no it was a Merc dealer. Not sure where. I would kill someone I really would. 10-20 mile blast is forgiveable if you have such a nice car, but 140 mile weekender.......

I always check the odometer before and after. If there are more than 10-15 miles on it I ask questions. Luckily I have a really trustworthy mechanic

Sorry to hear this Mike! I have had a few queries with them as well in the past! And now I have the dreaded Rattle and its getting worse! They did look at my car and told me after 3 days the tolerances where ok! But how can that be with rattling ocuring for aprox 8-10 mins at a time! Probably because thats all they did! 'Look at it'! I REALLY hope you get it sorted Mike! We should form a Mob!

Lets go there together :rob: Thanks Rob The whole thing seems to me that they can't fix anything that my 13yo nephew armed with a can of WD40 couldn't do I mean they can't even tighten up spotlight brackets

Yep well these are highly trained quality mechs! Trouble is they might as well be working for Monkey Mania! for all the quality checks being done! So that means the only way for them to realise whats going on is Positive negative feedback! So moaning is a good thing gets us together and on the MD's door! Oh and I had the same with my spots too!

Mine was due in tomorrow, I have an arrangement where I can drop of the night before and pickup the loaner. After Mike's post I rang to check all in order, Lynn said she would text back to confirm, her text said no loaner until morning I rang Chris (advisor), someone took a message for him to phone me, when he did and I started saying about cars etc he butted in to say he would have one ready When I dropped the car off he was very curt with me, even asked for my credit card in case I got a speeding ticket I can feel a letter of complaint coming up

Dave that's not good is it! Blimey! What young Chris being curt with you? There must be some serious probs at the mo! I know they are snowed under (no pun intended ) from the xmas and weather delays! But customer service should still be top notch surely?

I wonder what response I would get if I'd rolled up in a 7 series or X5 I don't think it would be the same as a MINI driver gets Except Lynn & Lisa's smiley and cheerie welcomes
