I cannot work out if these headlights all come with the very bright halo like ring as standard?
Some of the f56s on auto trader don't look like they do? But it's not clear ?
Anyone know for sure?

They were an option up until very very recently, now they come as part of the Chili pack on the S and Cooper I think

Haha I know, especially as xenons used to be part of the Chili pack on the S and upwards models previously!

I'm glad they do it now though, cos it's quite an expensive option really, but one you need to have I think

Haha yes this always happens it happened when I was looking for a r56 and couldn't find many with a interior trim that wasn't all in one colour
I always find a mini in the end though lol

They were extra when I got mine but looking at the pack prices now it seems they have gone up to reflect them being included..

Nothing is ever free! Put them in the pack, everyone is told they want/need the pack (look at how many are sold 'packless' - other than motab ones it's virtually none) for residuals as it's worth nothing without, so if you've got options that aren't selling enough put them in the pack and put the price up! Or the reverse if you can charge for it as an option and sell enough, so you don't put the price up at all/as much at facelift.

I guess you can retrofit anything, at a price. Someone asked this on another forum and pretty sure the answer was well in four figures as big job...

Looking at these, they look much nicer than the standard lights.

Issues I guess you would come up with is, LED errors, what lights do yo already have xenon's or non-xenon's possible harness differences.

Wish my other half's Mini had xenon's, it's one of those things that once you have them, "standard" lights are so lacking.

The lights themselves are not overly expensive to buy pricing ranging from £130 up to £380 each (taking into account you can off set the cost with selling your original lights). Brimmercode might be able to turn off the "coldstart" (this that the correct term?) feature to allow the LEDs not to throw up error codes.

I'm guessing if you have xenon's already it's going to be far easier to swap, although I'm unsure if they will need to be set up correctly to make sure they are aligned.

I have seen after market ones for non-xenon cars, costs around the £400 mark for a set, plus either fitting yourself or getting a garage to do.

So yeah to sum up, I'd like them too, but really unsure if it's totally possible or not

Michael if your MINI is a F56 then it will be LEDs.

I find the LEDs as good if not slightly better than Xenons and no worry8ng if the washers block or fail.
