| Some of you will remember Briony, who used to come to events with us in her iced chocolate F56. The car is now just over 3 years old, 33k miles, and just out of warranty. She has had a problem with a transmission error warning, which has left her not very confident in the car, or happy with the service department at her local dealer on the south coast. So she'd like some recommendations on which dealerships third gen owners have been happy with for servicing and fault resolution. |

| I'd go to Will at TWG. When I'm out of warranty they would be my first port of call. _________________ "Life's too short not to!!" |

When I'm out of warranty they would be my first port of call. If determined to go to a dealer, i'd say Sytner at Slough - although Steve has now left so the jury is out on his replacement. But thats far to go for me, let alone someone on the South Coast. Out of warranty it would be Will at TWG without a doubt, but they are very busy these days so might be hard to get in quickly :/ |

Unfortunately, Berry have gone downhill at a rapid rate of knots. They were quick to offer space in their workshop for my wifes car, at an estimated cost of over £750. I found a local BMW/Mini specialist who solved the problem for less than half of that. Too quick to take your money, not enough quality of service, and I've had 5 cars from them (including my Beamer). |

| I'm afraid Steve they all seem to be going the same way, just had mine serviced by Barons service adviser was busy chewing gum like a cow chewing the crud. In the past your car is brought up to the reception area but no not this time just given the key and told it was down the back, if you've not seen the back you'd be amazed how many cars are down there. Just lazy and sloppy! Sales are getting as bad, been waiting for a p/x price on the Countryman for well over 3 months despite chasing. They will get a shock when they do (if they do!) ring as gone to another marque... _________________ "Life's too short not to!!" |
