I'm being dumb - which firm has offered them at £218.90? I think they look great.

Cotswold mini club (Cotswold Cheltenham) well that price is valid until Monday.
Another guy at Cotswold Hereford was telling me they don't work with anything but 2018 models but we know that's not true! We seem to know more than some dealers lol

Copied from another forum:
All I can say is on bimmercode Under the non expert mode Expert mode scares me I can turn off the warm and cold bulb checks for each type of bulb on the car I can also tell the car bulb type Option 1 bulb Option 2 LED I chose option 2 thinking maybe by saying its LED it will stop the high beam error (I've got LED H4 bulbs in) but it didn't I presume maybe if u did a proper upgrade it would work BimmerCode using android works fine btw

Excellent Phil! I'm excited for mine.
Apparently if anyone needs them the Part numbers for ECE LCI Union Jack Taillights are:
LH - 63 21 7 435 133 RH - 63 21 7 435 134
Also there is a French website for those who know French or just use google translate, Nothing I found on there that hasn't been posted here already but does also say should be no issue turning the bulb out errors off by coding it through bimmercode, they mention VW owners do this all the time for upgrades:
One question though if a car shows a bulb out sign on dash but the car is actually ok in an MOT would that still be listed as an advisory?

I’m having a car mot’d tomorrow so I will ask but I doubt it if the actual lights are working.

Mulgari have them fitted to one of their pre-LCI cars, so I've just sent them a message to ask about the coding/fitting

I don’t think coding is an issue if you already have led lights, and if you don’t it looks straightforward. I’d be interested to hear what you find out Ian.

That's good to hear Phil! I read something about the indicator being LED and that's what throws up an error, but as soon as I hear back from Mulgari I'll let you both know

It may be that the indicator on non led cars is tungsten filament and hence changing to all led triggers a warning on the test cycle. This is because the replacement led consumes too low a current and the car thinks the filament has blown.

It's deffo plug and play if you have LEDs that's clear from all the Instagram posts I'm seeing but getting someone to tell me how they got rid of the error dash light is proving hard.
Gigamot said they would let me know in a few weeks I'm not sure why I have to wait lol Language barrier maybe as most of the people who have done this are German so far
Also messaged a few others fingers crossed someone tells us the exact thing we need to do!

Are the indicators LED on pre LCI cars?
Only saying as lots of cars say LED lights but certain parts (ie indicator/brake light) are normal bulbs

Yes they are all P21W LED bulbs
I feel sorry for people who are paying the €450 Euros that many companies are selling these for that works out about £399.00 not far off double what I paid!

Having worked in the manufacturing of vehicles I’d say your £218 is still giving MINI a mark up of inexcess of 100%.

I found a post where someone had fitted LED reversing lights. In BimmerCode they changed the setting from Bulb to LED and turned off the cold and warm monitoring.
Those options are there for all the different bulbs so that may be what needs to be done.
I will try and connect my BimmerCode later and see what those settings are on mine.

I've had this reply from Mulgari
Mulgari wrote:
Hi Ian,
Thanks for your message, I can confirm we are bring the out retro fit for the Union Jack rear lights. We have designed a plug and play fix for all the issues when fitting. We are just waiting for the first batch to be made and then these will be available for purchase. I know some of dealers are offering the lights for purchase but the issues with the dash are highly annoying and don't stop bonging. We will be selling the lights and adaptors as a kit, we wont be selling the adaptors separately, this doesn't mean the pricing is going to be expensive.
As soon as they are ready for purchase ill be sure to let you know. We will be offering the few sets as a group by option to.
Thanks for the message Ian.

Interesting. Someone has just fitted them today and she says there is no "can't stop bonging" but she can't get the dash error orange triangle off using bimmercode yet.
Them not selling the adapters will only mean some other company will!
Well done Ian for finding this out though!
Here are the pics from Sue who has been lovely today very helpful she fitted the UJs to her pre-LCI It shows the error codes the warning triangle comes up on start up and then on engine shut down comes the error messages- only 2 so can live with that for a while...
I also asked on another forum about coding here is a reply:
I wish I could help more but I think you better contact Stephan (Bimmercode app developer) directly and ask for the proper coding since these UJ LED lights are being so new and all he might be inclined to send you the instructions. Here's his email address: support@bimmercodeapp.com There are settings in bimmercode app to disable warm checks and cold checks for the rear lights and then there's some other option to enable (set to aktiv) in bimmercode but I'm not sure exactly where and which one. I've been reading some threads online that might give you some ideas: http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=810639 Post #1 0 https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/f55-f56-hatch-talk-2014/319265-coding-parameters-that-actually-work-using-bimmercode-expert-mode.html Post #1 : "Installed LED reverse lights: Turn off warm and cold monitoring Turn on LED status" https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/f55-f56-hatch-talk-2014/279326-mini-coding-programming-29.html Post #701 : "Anyone know on how to disable rear parking lights check when switched to LED bulb? (Below are copy paste from previous post) I rechecked that I coded as following: BDC_BODY 3061 BL_L_KALTUEBERWACHUNG nicht_aktiv BDC_BODY 3061 BL_L_WARMUEBERWACHUNG nicht_aktiv BDC_BODY 3061 BL_L_IS_LED aktiv BDC_BODY 3061 BL_R_KALTUEBERWACHUNG nicht_aktiv BDC_BODY 3061 BL_R_WARMUEBERWACHUNG nicht_aktiv BDC_BODY 3061 BL_R_IS_LED aktiv I get error message saying rear parking light left malfunction, rear parking light right malfunction. The front parking lights (bug lights) worked fine after coding POL_L and POL_R 3 lines for each side." These are all bits and pieces, someone has to find/post the exact list of codes that need to be changed for these new UJ LED rear lights to work without any error codes - and who better than Stephan, software developer for bimmercode. wrote:

I was hoping just turning the monitoring to not active would do the job? Hopefully someone can tell us
