Evening all.

Quick question whilst you sup that much needed and deserved glass of something.......

As you know my dad has just bought his Cooper S and is loving every minute of owning it but he has his hairy companion (no, not me before any of you ask) in the form of a Jack Russell with him most of the time and when she’s left in the car she sets the alarm off.

So my question is can you lock the car without setting the alarm?

M.

I don't think you can turn it off completely, but you can double click the lock button which disables the internal motion sensors so he can leave the dog in the car and a window open without the alarm going off. When you double click it, the alarm light under the mirror flashes twice or does one long flash I think, so you know they're turned off!
