Hey! I Know the stereos in r56 minis are pretty weak when it comes to bass end sounds. I've turned the bass right up on mine(+6 in the menu) but would love to beef the sounds up abit more if possible. A New head unit is a no no untill some aftermarket company makes one that fits into the speedo. Just wondering if it was possible just to install a sub, and if it is, has anyone had it done?? Thanks very much! Max

I've got the HiFi upgrade, it has about 240watts of power Not sure what this is over the standard version, it's loud but agree could do with a bit more bass

Sounds good! I think i can live with the bass levels im getting with the bass tuned up to 6 but the speakers seem to be struggling! I rekon the channel swap should sort that out with the big speakers in the back!

you dont need to remove the top part of the trim at all. take the lower part off, get to the plug - easy
