Try to keep the positives in here rather than the negatives! If we get enough even just a handful of brilliant MINI dealerships within OUR surrey area, then it will be to the benefit of all, so there will be no need to cuss the bad ones in here!

If the Surrey MINI dealerships read this thread, I'm hoping they would want mentioning so will have to measure up to the mark to get a mention! Well thats the theory!

5 - 10 = Average - Best service every time I ever had!

I only have experiance of Vines in Guildford. Sales were ok if a but pushy when I was looking. Didn't buy from there in the end. Had one repair which was fine, and the parts guys are good. Getting the parts to send an item to the body shop to be painted was harder than you'd think though!! Fitted my number plates for free too.

Overall 7/10.

Cooper Tadworth - 9/10. Very transparent about wanting my business and money, love to negotiate hard which I love, passionate about the brand and James in service is excellent.

Vines Redhill - 7/10. Test drove an '06' plate Cooper back in July when first looking, incredibly friendly but unfortunately I realised it would cost too much to run for the work commute.

Following the friendly service on the first visit, went back for plan B which was a new Cooper D, and they did all they could to find a way to get me the spec I wanted at the amount I was willing to pay, but then offered me the Graphite that was in the showroom if I could stretch to adding an MFSW - which I'm glad I did. However the sales person I saw the first time had left, so I dealt with Ryan the second time who did all I could ask of him, and was friendly, efficient and not pushy either.

Not had to visit after sales yet, so can't comment on that yet.

Cooper Thames Ditton: 8/10

Good after sales service along with friendly, but not too pushy sales (Tony rocks, brought 2 MINIs from him so far ). Downside is the price, they don't negotiate too well, cheaper deals to be found elsewhere if that is what your after.

Only ever used Vines for the couple of occasions that i have had to use them. Went to Redhill after Paul Hicks recommended them over Gatwick/crawley & had my new p.steering replaced there. Did ask them for a trade in price but that was pants but the service was good, took slightly longer than mentioned but price was as expected. Went back as thought it was going again but they found my s.bushes were going which my bro/mot didnt spot. So give them a 7/10

Only used vines gatwick for parts & been as expected 6/10

Not used any for sales as Chilli came from Cafffyns as a trade in

Cooper cobham nice as pie when doing the deal, very good at negotiations.9/10
Service on the other hand for us woulnt go back if it wasn't so conveniently located 0.2/10 and that's being generous!
Sorry to be the 1st negative.

Chandlers Brighton - excellent sales when I bought Bond, and though that was 3 years ago and the salesman has now left, the other sales people are top too. Service are friendly and helpful (they were excellent with trying to resolve the engine rattle on Bond), and so are parts 10/10

Chandlers Worthing - again excellent sales, David the sales manager is a top bloke and so is Michael the salesman that sold me the Checkie and the Clubby (bought 3 MINI's from Worthing in total). Haven't used the service dept for a long time as I go to Brighton cos it's easier for me, but they were always friendly and helpful too. Parts are as helpful and friendly as ever 10/10

I brought 3 MINI's from Barons and to be honest always had great deals and always used Rob Hickes - 9/10

Used the service department, got of to a slow start but when I was having loads of problems with my first Clubbie what ever needed doing was done 8/10

Recently some of the staff at the service centre have given me cause to be alarmed with things they say - 5/10

2 ladies on reception (Lynn & Lisa) - 10/10

Never needed parts - n/a

After signing to their MINI Club never really heard anything - 3/10

Have to agree with you Dave Barons sales 9/10 but the aftersales have gone from fair to bad of late so 2/10.
Sales will suffer here if they dont reverse this issue! Who wants a bad service even after a fantastic sales experience! What use is it!

Well I returned to Vines Redhill last week, to get a dashboard rattle sorted.

I'm going to go with 6/10 for now for service, everyone was very friendly and helpful, but I came away feeling a little let down.

The staff I spoke to were all incredibly helpful, professional and friendly. The only issue was that the loan car barely had enough fuel to get me to a petrol station, was dirty (which I was warned about) and my dashboard rattle has reduced, but is not gone.

Phil you got your new wheels on? or is the picture photoshopped?

Last chance for Barons and me on the 19th of this month! Then I will be going elsewhere for all of my purchases!
On another note, I reckon Barons have probably lost out to the tune of £250,000 or more for all the de-recommendations I have done for them to many many people over the last 6 months, who have gone on to buy MINI's from other dealers! Good work in my book! I will keep it up too!

Plus I may be able to put some possible legal pressure for compo, if another dealer comes good over my probs where Barons failed?

Just think of the lost commission as well

Loan Car had plenty of fuel was only a few days Old they even said sorry it's not a MINI all we have is a 1 series
They were having Computer problems when I went there and could not tell me everything that was done I was supposed to get a Call back on the Monday - I didnt Ebded up Calling them but everything was explained to me so overall Happy

Bought my Car from Matt he was OK they fouled up on the Delivery date but lent me a Demo so I can't complain

Barons - sorry Taylor for using that word - have a launch do for the new engined MINI's this weekend

They have a hog roast and a few other things going on, anyone fancy giving them a hard time
