| Not much help, but I got BMW to do mine and it took them 2 hours! That was to remove the old one, and fit a new JCW carbon fibre handbrake handle and alcantara handbrake gaitor. I also know the JCW one has to be glued on, if that is any help! |

| I am tyring to do the above on Chilli - I do can do so much but have got stuck I can remove the clip by the handbrake realese & the leather grip but no more - I tried the to prise of the other end nearest the gaitor but think the black section under the grip is stopping me. It appears i need to remove this part as i have a replacment but unsure how to remove. Have asked for some instructions of someone else but think there for the r56 Want to see if i can do myself |

| I did a guide a while back in the DIY section, doesnt make much sence mind, Just prise off the end, you have to force it but it will come off eventually, then the whole handle just slides off |

Your diy guide if for the gaitor & not the handel isnt it You have to take the hndle off first to get to the gaitor, once the end part is off there is a clip that just needs to be pushed down and the whole handle will slide off |
