I just wanted to say how great Cooper Thames Ditton were for me - overall a great experience buying my first brand spanking Mini! They bent over backwards to ensure everything ran smoothly as it was such a quick turnaround (I went in on a Tuesday for a test drive and drove Betty away on the Saturday) and they offered a very personal service. They even ordered me an ipod cable without me even asking for it Highly recommended!

Went here a few times recently nice chap called Steve I think it was who was very friendly no pressure and I felt I could have a good look at the showroom without being bothered which to me helped me get my F56 (I didn't get it from them in the end though) but they definitely helped me decide!

While I haven't purchased anything from Steve (Cooper Thames Ditton have never been any good at coming up with good prices), I can recommend Steve as well as a nice sales guy if anyone is dead set on buying something from them. |

When I went into Cooper TD in February i wandered around the show room for half an hour , sat in a new Clubman and nobody from sales even acknowledged me or even came up to me and asked if they could help. I went elsewhere for my Clubman!

It's very small up in the showroom but someone should have said hello at least. I went in on a Sunday not many staff in but had a good look around. Thames Ditton by the river is lovely they clearly have enough customers. Is it best going to a mini dealer in a rough area to get a cheaper price ? Lol

Cooper Tadworth were just as bad. When I did speak to a young lady sales executive (their wording!) I was informed that the new engines for the latest Mini models did not have cam belts !! (I asked whether the belts were traditional or chain.)

I'm at Coooer Thames Ditton today for an air con service for my F56. They have an offer on for £59 where as Berry quotes £159! I wasn't going to somewhere like kwik fit so Cooper TD is a good price. Waiting now while it's being done taken an hour so far so hope not much longer. The sales floor is dead this morning, and the waiting area is in the corner and not overlooking the lovely river which is a bit odd and boring. Traffic round here is a nightmare at 8:30 bare that in mind if your not that local! I will post later on more info but so far the magazines in the waiting area are rubbish they should put mini brouchures there to read instead lol

Update on my previous post. 5/5 on customer service the lady was lovely very helpful went out of her way to look into details for me and see if she could do better than Berry. Air conditoning is ICE cold now and they did only charge £59.99 so the special offer is still valid and no hidden fees! If other dealers are charging £159.99 that is a rip off. They did a free health check too (found nothing wrong) and a wash and vac (did a great job). Took 2 1/2 hours I was waiting but didn't have to wait and glad they didn't rush it. Very impressed overall I think I have found my new main dealer to deal with. And I heard someone mention Steves name so he is still there (who was helpful to me last year)
