Since disconnecting battery recently to replace front seats, sat nav has been unable to find the cars current position & therefore unable to use sat nav. Have even tried a updated map disc with no joy. Any ideas?

I've heard of this problem on the second gen's, but not on the first - I can't remember what the cause is though. There were a few threads on it on the old tM, but unfortunately they won't be there now! You could post over there and ask though, I'm sure someone will be able to help

It's a pain , Ian. Got to take my Tom Tom with me in a car equipped with fitted sat nav. Been one thing after another lately, have come very close to selling her, but since getting suspension done, the handling is awesome.

Not heard of it but mine does throw a wobberly every now and then.....

Like yesterday, told me to take a left turn then said do a U turn! Did that then told me to do another U turn!! I swore at her and she settled down and got me home ok

I've sworn profusely at this one, Dave, but to no avail.....
